Richard Burton BSc(Hons)
2013 Prize Recipient
Richard Burton was awarded the 2013 Revell Research Systems prize as the top final
year BSc(Hons) undergraduate student within the cognate area of Computing.
Richard Burton secured a position with IBM as a Technical Solutions Specialist before
graduation, taking up his new job in October 2013. He has since worked on various
projects with IBM, including as a Java EE developer and more recently as a
technical lead for a major eCommerce retailer.
