Sam Gunaratne BSc (Hons)

Sam Gunaratne was the seventh person to be awarded the prize.

Sam Gunaratne was awarded the 2012 Revell Research Systems Prize as the top final year BSc (Hons) undergraduate student within the cognate area of Computing.

Sam Gunaratne joined the IBM Hursley Laboratories after graduating from the University of Plymouth as a graduate software developer. He was subsequently promoted as a software engineer at IBM Hursley.

In 2015, he moved to IBM Bluemix Garage before joining Pivotal and then VMWarre Tanzu in software enginering roles.

He is currently Principal Engineer at Broadcom.
