Taren Collyer was the nineteenth person to be awarded the prize.

Taren Collyer was awarded the 2024 Revell Research Systems Prize as the top final year BSc (Hons) undergraduate student within the cognate area of Computing.

Taren studied Computing at the University of Plymouth between 2020 and 2024, graduating with First Class Honours. Her studies covered a broad range of computing disciplines, including software engineering, artificial intelligence, embedded systems, networking, cyber security, parallel computing and information management.

Following her studies, Taren began her professional career with Marine AI in Plymouth, where she works as a C++ Software Engineer. Her role aligns closely with the technical foundations developed during her degree, particularly in advanced software development and computing systems.
