Sara Sheridan BA (Hons) FdSc

Inaugural 2006 Recipient

Sara Sheridan was the first person to be awarded the prize.

Sara Sheridan was awarded the inaugural 2006 Revell Research Systems Prize as the top final year student on the FdSc Internet Technology in Business programme that was delivered at the Exeter Business School.

Sara had initially graduated from Plymouth with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art before deciding to complement her first degree with a computing qualification.

Sara was initially recruited by Sophos in Abingdon, near Oxford, after graduating from the programme. She then joined Cisco for ten years, where she worked with VoIP technology in the Technical Assistance Centre (TAC).

She spent a couple of years at Mulesoft, before joining Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she is now a Senior Technical Account Manager.
